Have any of the members been affected by Oasis going into liquidation?

Notice to Passengers

It
is with regret that Oasis Hong Kong Airlines announces that the airline
has this morning applied to the Hong Kong Court to appoint a
provisional liquidator. The Court has appointed Edward Middleton and
Patrick Cowley of KPMG as the provisional liquidators, and they have
assumed control of the airline with effect from 1400h HKG time today.
Our
flight operations have been cancelled until further notice. The
Provisional Liquidators are liaising with other airlines in order to
help customers make alternate travel arrangements as quickly as
possible.

Anyone know of cheap one way flights from Nanning to UK? I know at least 5 people who will be looking for flights as soon as they find out about Oasis folding....

Try Finnair.co.uk. They were doing some deals last week.But don't forget a one way ticket is really going to be expensive either way

BA are offering flights back to the UK until the end of April for 1250 HKG$ or £81 in our money.Not too bad

Thanks Dave,
I know of Tony & Bingrong, Alan's wife Zhen and my own stepson who were booked to fly to London on Oasis on 21st April. I booked 2 of their tickets myself and am waiting to hear from the liqidator. I did read of several rescue packages from other airlines including BA. But I fear that no money will be refunded by Oasis. If they do rebook with BA I just hope they are not flying into T5 at Heathrow!!!! David

BA deny any knowledge of cheap flights for Oasis customers. but have finally replied to my email with a "Customer support" phone number. Will try them tomorrow to see what they say although we have already rebooked for 5350 RMB one way from Nanning to Heathrow.
