Is everyone aware that you can reclaim the tax on flights if you cancel the flight before you are due to fly ? I twice wanted to change my flight arrangements but could not because I had bought them at special rates. On the first occasion I was told by dial a flight that I could reclaim the airport taxes , which they did for me. I have just received a refund of £255 from Finnair which was a sizeable amount of the cost of the flight in respect of the second flight , but it did take three months to get it, and several phone calls to Expedia. In the second case I am sure Expedia would not have told me about getting the refund had I not asked.
Just got a good deal from Asda Travel £470 to Guangzhou and half the price KLM were asking for the same itinery on their planes .

Hi Frank.
That is really good information that you gave us there regarding the tax refund.
I did't know that.
I got a good price with Qatar to Guangzhou.£446 return and all inclusive of taxes.
There web site price was £951 return all inc.I got this through hoodaki.com.You really have to have a look around for cheap flights because they are there somewhere.
