Just make certain the school legitimately registers you and gets all your visa's to work and stay there. Also check any contract you sign and be aware that some frown on "moonlighting" and it can cause more problems than it's worth. Depending on the age of the students, you may have to deal with mobile phones in the classroom. I have not done teaching myself but i spoke to a number of them in Nanning and these were some of the things they mentioned in talks I had with them.

The visa rules are being enforced. I've heard you must obtain your work visa in your own country before you come to China. This is usually easy if the school is properly registered and the school will send you an invitation letter and employment contract to support your visa application.
There is plenty of information at the Chinese Embassy website and elsewhere on the forum.
