In the interests of self-moderation I decided to remove the post in it's entirety. Sorry chaps but the store isn't closing!

Graham

now that is a shame, although it wasn't tuned to anyone other than americans it was always a good port of call in a storm
back when i was stumbling about in the dark (more than i'm stumbling about now that is) , it was through Robs Nanning that i stumbled onto Daniel Clarke a Yorkshire man if i recall correctly, who lived in Nanning and he gave me inspiration to keep going......i never got to meet him,and i never see him on any of the sites anymore (thats any of the sites that i haven't been banned from that is Ha Ha), i would love to buy him a pint,
It really is a shame about China Robs......but every cloud etc......Now with andrew already bored with this place maybe Mr Robert at the rock could lend his experance and oversee this place.......How about it McRobski

John,
I've got a good idea. Whilst you are in Nanning you could buy a pint for Daniel Clarke and I will drink it on his behalf. If I come across him later I'll buy him one on your behalf.
Give me a bell if you are at a lose end anytime.

hi den
having a great trip (this time), i fly out on the 4th of may so we'll miss each other, but i'm sure the local boys will on hand for a chat and a pint

Graham
i was hoping to make the V touch this morning, but through one thing and another didn't make it (left the apartment at 8am got back at 22.30 and we still didn't do all we planned, chinese hospitality is so warm that you can't really say "thanks but i have to run" ,that together with the fact that it's phisically impossible for my wife to pass a clothes shop without going in to "Just have a look" , all combined to another full day) , hope to pop down wednesday (i think thats the next gathering ??)
I've been here (in China) just over a week, but when i arrived the stepson was in the local hospital for a minor op, so that (quite rightly) put the hat on the first three days, allthough we did get the chance to pop over and see the retirement shack we've bought , we are now proud owners of "Part" of a tower of scaffolding and mesh. we then spent three days back in the home town, we're we climbed the mountains and cleared the graves, burnt jossticks (don't forget to bow and say something to the deceased-"i asked why did you want to buried so high up?" HA HA)
we then burnt money, offered food and set off firecrackers.....i was made to feel like one of the family and the we did this all day (part of the time spliting into smaller groups because there was many to do)the day was spent laughing and joking.....if church back home was this happy i'd think off going!
anyway we're back in town now (i think we came back because my wife was getting the DTs over lack of shopping)
so i hope to meet some of the lads while i'm here (i might even go round to Nana and Andrew's garden centre and piss on the flowers....when he's not looking of course)
Graham, i know that you have probablly got tuned up for this weather...but for an old backrow forward, who has probablly been stamped on once too often, the last couple of days have been HOT!!!!
John
oh yes, i nearly forgot.....if one more mossie bites me , i am going out to buy the biggest frigging machine i can find....

Wizard, Thak you for the offer. If there was a closing down sale i definately would have given it some serious thought. However realistically there are person or persons unknown that having been creating some problems in the background of the other site. My fear was that if i took another "position" elsewhere then they too might follow and try the same thing. Here as just an ordinary guy like the rest of you gives me the peace and reasoning behind my being part of a forum. That is to help and join in. I will not shirk my duties elsewhere while still wanted, nor would i wish this or any other forum to be assulted because i held some sort of posiion. The other site i am involved in i took on a responsibility and agreed to it therefore i am "honour bound" to continue. This forum i can pop in, say hi and the gears in the background get serviced and worried about by someone else. While i am not attracting the wrong type of people here by my presence i will continue to be a member, but should they come this way then i will be gone so that this forum continues without all the cr#p that happens elsewhere. Andrew deserves credit for setting up this forum and don't forget he has just bought a new business and is incredibly busy with that right now too.

Hi John,
I'll be at V-Touch on Wednesday night about 6pm. Got to get a few beers downed before the movie starts at 7pm. The movie this week is Mr Bean goes on holiday, how could I miss that?
But don't worry if you can't make it tomorrow night, I understand what a busy time you have when you visit Nanning, although it would be nice to meet up. Hope to see you there.
Nowadays I hate the cold, so I love this hot weather and it makes me appreciate the slightly cooler days like today.
Graham
