Does anybody play western chess or know of a chess club in Nanning? I guess most of the indigenous Chinese play either Chinese chess,which is a totally different game, go, or Mah Johng. Anybody interested in a game or learning for that matter please let me know.

still waiting, but had a phone call from my visa company to say that they would submit the application together with the letter of invitation from my daughter and a copy of her passport and did not envisage any problem. They went on to say that they had recently got a single entry visa to China for another applicant covering FORTY days, so they will try to get me the same for my 35 days.
